our sewing toys

We have a '67 split window VW bus needing new brakes (he scared himself when the new brakes he installed failed), our '89 VW camper that we use to travel and camp, VW campouts (any body seeing a theme here), thrift store shopping, reading, just begun collecting multi-tools like leatherman stuff, has over 600 albums, downloads music and listens to it, computer stuff, used to ride motorcycles until I had to stop for health reasons (but we still have 2 Honda CB 400 F's, dumpster diving, used to collect plastic radios til we ran out of room.
But he doesn't hassle me about the quilting or my collections...

You're getting lots of replies to this thread!
My hubby hunts, has all the prerequisite gear - lerge 4-wheel drive pickup, variety of guns, hunting bow & arrows, foam target for bow practice, wall tents, portable collapsable wood stove, wool clothing, portable folding potty seat, portable grill, rain gear, saddle paniers for packing gear, chainsaw, hand cross-cut bow saw, collapsable shovel, horses for packing, trail riding, etc, the list goes on & on - an expensive hobby. When he has commented on my fabric expenditures, I've asked him, "How much is a tank of gas in the pickup to take you & the horses into the woods for a 'trail-clearing' day?" His reply - no comment. :+)

Mine Guns, reloading and hunting which he started, hunting, at
age 4.
doesn't complain at all about my quilting. Told me I have enough money in stocks to get my longarm, didn't know I had stocks. Hope to move in a year or so to a larger house then I will have room for the longarm.

Mine has 4 computers - his desk in the office looks like something out of Star Wars. He also has a Harley. But the toys we both seem to like best are our 4 grandchildren between ages 4 and 10 months. We're both retired - life is wonderful!!

My DH has a large garage full of wood and wood working tools. He makes furniture While it's true my sewing machine cost more than any one of his tools, even his big table saw, he probably has more money tied up in all of his together than I do. Can't complain, though since he made me a beautiful cabinet for my machine and a wonderful cutting table.
