I keep the house pretty cool, 60 degrees, because of hot flashes so my poor husband freezes to death. He wears a hooded sweatshirt in the evening with the hood up. lol, and snuggles under a quilt while he watches TV.

I find all these responses to my question interesting. I'm still pondering what my hubby would do with one. He doesn't watch TV much and is often doing some type of work or laying in bed when he's watching TV. He's not a hunter. We don't need blankets in our vehicles in the South. He has a cabinet shop and that's no place for quilted wall hangings. Shucks, I'm not sure I have an excuse to make him one, but maybe one day I will do it anyway. By the way, some asked about the quilt in my avitar...it's Buggy Wheels, designed by the gals at Buggy Barn.

Mine has several he takes when he goes hunting & has ask me to make some for his friends. They have deer or pheasants or fish. They all love them.

I guess I should have said the quilts have the deer, pheasant, or fish on them.

I have made 2 for my hubby. He loves them too and uses one of them every day. He is a napper and has to have his blanky. He is also a great supporter of my quilting and loves seeing all the things I make.

They're on the couch, the bed or with him when he travels (military). He shows them off to people and tells me people think I'm talented (which is bunk and embarrasses me to no end).

Now, not every man is going to treasure a homemade gift but when they do... it's outstanding. Give it a go.

My DH went into the LQS with me last week. While I was talking he came up to me and said that they had a civil war quilt hanging up.
He is a civil war buff and has been collecting since he was a child. Do you think he is trying to tell me something?

My grown son latched on to my 1st big quilt. Once the weather cools he is never without it. On the bed, napping on the couch or on the floor with the dogs.
My husband loves a lap quilt to use at night while watching tv.
