This is so pretty! I wanted to make DD one as she got a Kindle for Christmas, but I ran out of time. Made her a little cover that I need to redo. She did see this and like it.

I have my mothers Featherweight sewing machine and unfortunately the bottom plack was wood instead of metal I removed it and discarded because it was moldy and the inside of the machine smells terrible. The machines works great. Any suggestions for getting rid of the odor.
I need to have a bottom made for it.
Thanks so much for any solutions.
