I do that alot...it got out of control for a while and I wasn't getting anything finished but I sure was starting alot. Then I told myself that i wasn't honoring my hobby very well and if I didn't get it in gear and get them to the finished stage I was just going to quit all together. I imagined what my life would be like without my quilting...I had the UFO's all done in a few weeks. =)

That's what I do. I wonder if we call that multi-tasking? But I find that sometimes one of the projects goes from WIP to UFO :-D

Usually, lots going on at once. I get bored with them easily and switch all the time.

I always have more than one going but I started this when I started taking my Mom to the dr. a lot. I always took hand work & tried workin on that. I was known as "the quilt lady
as people would get off the elevator at the hospital while she was in therapy. Worked on a Grandmother's flower garden block then, & still working on it!

I am sure I will fall into that UFO also, but that's alright, I sure am enjoying what I am doing. I am pieceing an Amish quilt kit, a block of the month with all different blocks including applique, and a scrap quilt using the card trick block. I might have bit off more than I can chew but so far so good, except I am not too happy with some of the card trick blocks, but it was my first one started so I am not going to fret over it.

yes, it is a good plan as long as you do finish the projects. Set yourself a time limit for each one and stick to it.
Some people, I have found spend so much time out purchasing they don't save time to do the projects!
This is something that comes up often in conversations. We think it is ok to take time out to shop but then feel guilty when we take time out to quilt! What is up with that?

If you are bored quickly- take on smaller projects.
