Wow I don't have even enough of a stash for a flat of fabric!

It's nice to have a bit of a stash. Adds color and purpose to a life.

But that much... is kind of sad. She didn't come close to using it up. I truly hope she got a great deal of pleasure from acquiring it.

I dunno... maybe it's just me, but the older I get the less desire I have to collect anything at all. I still like looking at pretty things, I just no longer feel the need to own it. Just looking is enough.

I wonder if I'm the only one?
Nope...I'm with ya ;)

A little is enough for me.

WOW WOW and more WOW! I don't see how you would ever know what all you had. I like to have plenty on hand, but good golly. I would never have the room to store that much fabric. I'm really surprised that she didn't designate it to go to quilt guilds or charities. If I had that much, I think I would have something stipulated in my will.

Oh My God! I thought I had a lot of fabric. She definitely won the prize for the most fabric!! I wish I had been there!

overwhelmed. As i'm in the midst of cleaning my garage and sewing room, this post is really confirming what I was already knowing, I have too much fabric. I will never sew all of this in my lifetime :( After it is finished being sorted by color (i had several large bins tossed together) I will have a much better idea of what I actually have and what I can certainly live without. thank you for posting these pictures, they were eye opening.

Wow.... My husband's cousin lives in Ava.... wonder if they were at the auction. You are in quilting country... I learned to quilt from some of those ladies...... far from there now. What a fun day.... yes, exhausting too... but fun... I love auctions.
