Newbies challenge
#1492
I am open to adopt. I have been quilting for 31 yrs, love to piece and paper piece. I have a pfaff grandquilter that I do my machine quilting on, do hand quilting and have taught quilting at the local shop for over 6 years. If I can help anyone out, I would love to. PM me if you need adopting. One thing I have not done or been very interested in is contempory quilting or artwork or threadwork but other than that hopefully I can help you out.

Another newbie up for adoption. I tried to quilt a simple wall hanging and it's turning out a disaster. the strips are all 1 inch wide and obvious different lengths but they're not sewing together well. I don't know if it's my cutting or sewing that's worse... But I'm determined to learn how to quilt. Thanks - Sandy in Connecticut

Newbee up for adoption too! Thanks - great idea!
I've been quilting for about a year but haven't done too much. I have been taking classes at my local quilt store in Las Vegas. Here's what I've done so far - 1 complete table runner. 1 complete hexagon table runner, 1 wall hanging using a panel and a placemat. I have several projects that are half completed. LOL
Now that I'm more comfortable with sandwiching and binding, I'm ready to do a lot more and can use someone to help answer questions! I have to say - YouTube has helped me tremendously.

THERE IS NO QUESTION I AM A NEWBIE! I am ambitiously looking for a mentor to teach me from scratch and help me with a special project. I live in NJ and would even pay someone to help me! I am currently on maternity leave and have the time to get started immediately. Help, please.

I have been quilting for 3 years, self taught, I do not insist on quilt shop fabric 100 percent of the time. I have lots of time on my hands and do my own free motion quilting on my standard sewing machine. I would love to help a newbie along. Feel free to pm me. Kim

I am a newbie and I'm trying to make a quilt for my newborn graddaughter. I don't have much experience and the material and pattern my daughter picked out is hard to work with. Is there someone out that could take me under their wing and help me get this done? She keeps asking me when the quilt will be done, I don't have the heart to tell her I'm having problems! I live in Port Saint Lucie, Fl Thank You Grammy Carol
