Thank you. :-)

The flannel squares were 8 1/8". The batting squares were 6 7/8". I used a 1/2" seam allowance.

I originally considered making smaller squares, but was glad I didn't given how long it took to snip all the seams.

Hi, I am in the process of making my first rag quilt and I cut my squares 5 inches not relizing that the pattern called for 1/2 inch seam, so what size blocks did you use? With the 1/2 seams I ended up with a 3 in block and seems like it is taking forever :XD: You did a great job I hope mine turns out that good. My instructions did not say to make a n x on each square, but I think I will do that to mine! I am so impressed with all that show pictures on QMB, I am so new to quilting I started with the simple stuff :-D
