I usually have two or three going. I also have project trays going to collect fabric for the next two or three. Like all quilters, I have a dozen or so in my mind.

Right now about a dozen projects in various stages of done. One just needs border attached, one needs rows put together, on sashing sewn to blocks, one needs machine applique, one piecing, and several in various stages of cutting out. Pizza boxes hold the projects.

From Don-isewman--I just sent a message to a member, and told her when, I got into quilting, I use to have 8-10 UFO's started, and eventually it got a little out of control for me. I'd always, see something, I wanted to start, and of course start it. I finally finished those 8-10 project's, and now only do only 1 at a time. Don-isewman

This is how i like to do it too, see more progress this way. However, right now, I have four and feeling a bit overwhelmed, so am trying to finish them all up before I start something else. I think it works best for me to work from start to finish, before I start something else, unless it is a small and fast project to change the pace a bit, too because my quilting time is limited.

I have so many going. I work on one till I reach a point I want to stop, then I go to another one. The more the better.

I just counted 4 active ones I am working on. But then there are UFO's that were started at some point and then put away. Who knows when I'll get to them.
