I have tried paper piece patterns and find that the points match up much better than regular piecing. I just don't like tearing the paper off the back. I made several frog blocks from quilters cache and loved the way it turned out, want to make them into a wall hanging one day.

Baily I hear ya on the PP, not my favorite method. Yours did turn out really pretty. I have the same tree fabric & was going to use it for my church block..get minds thing alike..lol

Bailey where did you get a pattern like that? I love the look. Are there books out there on church blocks?
Now why are you not making another like this? Was it that dificult? I think about it before I start something like this.
I m new to this hobby, so bear with me ladies :roll:
