you did pick very nice fabric colors. it is beautiful. I been gonna make a table runner,but havent started it yet. I love the braided look. thanks for sharing. Mary

WOW, Thank you for all the compliments everyone, it is truely appreciated :-)

Everyone knows, the hardest part of making a quilt...Is picking the fabric. I did the hardest part about a year ago LOL

As far how fast i made it...let me clarify:

1)picked and bought fabric a year ago...kept them in order i wanted to use them in quilt and put them awaw

2)Friday AM, i decided i wanted to make this..pulled out the book, pulled out the fabric...cut everything and assembled the "braids"

3) Sat. , I "trimmed the braids" sewed them together and put the borders on and folded it up

When i tell you how simple this quilt top was...it still amazes me..

Sunday i took the pics and folded it up to start a rag quilt i am being paid to make lol

There ya go, this kind of quilt is really a very simple and fast thing to come together as long as you have your fabric picked and in order.
