I can only imagine how therapeutic the intricate selection of colors/florals is. As you say, very time consuming! But also therapeutic for us to see. Thanks for sharing these wonderful blocks.

Your floral log cabin blocks are gorgeous!! :D I just love it every time you make them & share with us here on the QB. Plus, I am a proud owner of one of your Doll Quilts. I think of you every time I look at it. It's so beautiful!!

Well, the center/first two strips changes with each of the two blocks. One has two centers the same size, so one light strip has to be cut at 1.5". The other block starts with the light at 1".

As Eleanor Burn's log cabin book teaches, I need to know if the "handle"--the last strip added, needs to be on the top or bottom as it's added to the next strip. I think in the basic log cabin it's on top--but I'd hae to check. In the new design--the ones posted here--the handle is always at the bottom. I'd have to make the other one to see if that one is the same. If I've been away from them for awhile, I look at a completed square to get me started. Finally I got smart and made notes. I've sold every project I've made with these blocks, so am always careful to keep a few extras--at least half way done.

Thank you for so many kind replies. :-D

[quote=wichypoo I would love one of these on my bed. Great Work![/quote]

Every post and thread I read about these just makes me smile and smile and pat myself on the back. And the little kid in me is just chanting "neener neener, it's all MINE!" I guess I should be ashamed. But I'm not!
