I sure don't miss it. I don't know where I would find the time to just sit in front of the television.
We do have a monitor to watch movies with, but with all the kids recently out of the house, DH and I rarely watch a movie either.

We have DISH and four televisions. My Keith automatically turns a TV on when he enters a room. He goes outside, I turn the TV off, he comes in and turns it back on and goes to a different room, I turn it off and we go back and forth like that constantly. I don't think he even realizes that I turn it off. He just has to have the TV on. Me? I don't have any quirks, at all.

We just got Dish Network at Thanksgiving time, had it about 6 years before that, it is on almost all the time even just for the noise
We also just got internet the beginning of Nov.,so I'm on it more than watching T.V.

I've been without it for 6 years...and love it! Don't miss it a bit.
Everything I want to see or learn about is on the computer.[/quote]

I still have a TV, and have masses of videos and CDs, might watch 2 or 3 per month. Can't stand the constant noise from it.
And I agree, I can find all I want to see on my computer. I watched some of the old Adams Family series, and some of other oldies that I used to love.

Years ago, my DH and I were fighting about the TV. He yelled, "if you hate it so much, why don't you just sell it". The next day he went to work, and I put an ad in the local buy'n'sell. A week later, when he was all calmed down, he came home from work and the TV was gone. He asked what happened, and I said "I sold it". He's my ex, now. It took a while for that, though, because without a TV, um, things, between us improved incredibly!!
