I'm trying to find some patterns for 2 color quilts. I have a striking piece of blue/purple material and a piece of a mottled beige that just makes the blue/purple pop. I have approx. 4 yds of each and would like to make a quilt for a double or queen-size bed.

Any and all help will be appreciated.

    Thanks to all.

You might get some ideas looking at these images and then look for a pattern once you narrow it down. http://images.google.com/images?um=1...2+quilt+images Just a thought.

I think that a Disappearing 9 Patch would be great. You can use your blue/purple as the corner pieces in your 9 patch, and the coordinating colors as the other 5 squares. When finished, it would look as if your blue/purple would be framed by the other fabric.

It's a really versatile pattern. I've seen whole quilts made out of 2 fabrics. I've made them using 3. Then, I've seen them on this board set up as I Spy or Charm quilts with each corner piece in the 9 patch being different from all the others.

Twistedstitcher, that is a good website. Thanks! I just finished one very similar to that...Wheel of Mystery. I am from Alberta also. Which part are you from?
