I haven't started this block yet but want to encourage everyone who's is intiimidated by paper piecing to give it a shot. Once you try paper piecing I think you'll really like it. All the points are sharp and it doesn't warp when it's on the bias. I recommend not removing the paper until the block is completely sewn together.

I keep looking at this and thinking...well I guess if it is not too late I would like to join the BOM. I will have to catch up on Jan but that one doesn't look so bad. This one looks a bit of a challenge hmmm gonna give it a try adn see how it turns out.

Welcome Gwenny! I've never done paper piecing, so am intimidated by this months block. I've been watching all the video's I can on the subject and reading the tutorials. I've cut all the fabric, so just have to get up the nerve to try it!!!
