Yes, I have been to both places. Discovered Creations years ago and don't go as much as I would like, but Shop Hop is coming soon and it will be on the list, I'm sure.

Two cousins here.....are they quilters? Small world, huh?

Thanks!! San Gabriel...? I think I was there years ago. Have been more in the Northern CA area. Modesto, Merced, San Fran, Apple Valley, Soda Springs, Los Angeles, Manhattan Beach, Carmel, San Jose, Monterrey. Am thinking San Gabriel is somewhere around San Jose?? Wine and cheese valley.....so great.

Thanks, pdunn! Living in NJ, what fabrics do you enjoy quilting with the most?

Fabric stores are few and far between , quilting is just not that big around here but I have enough cotton fabric in my stash from the last 16 years of this hobby to sew a complete quilt everyday for the rest of my life and probably my next life too!! However, that has not stopped me from now buying batiks which is my new love :-)

There are all kinds of patterns on the site quilter's cache.com and they are free. Welcome to the board. My son lives in San Marcos, just up the road from you .

There's a real pretty Singer (old, but pretty) on E Bay. Only $21,000,000.00. Shipping is only about $2.00 or so AND he'll even insure it for $100.00. It's even painted gold with silver decals. Now, how can you say no to that??? (l0l) Easily, I know.

    Welcome from NW Washington.
