    Ditter,
wonderful find!! Three years ago, a lady was selling a really old quilt that was a little threadbare and handquilted by her great aunt for $5.00. I bought it and the reason she was selling it at a yard sale she didn't like the pattern. It's a star pattern, I think it is an Ohio Star - Her loss my gain it is beautiful!!

Just think, all that work and it ended up in a thrift store. Boggles a quilter's mind and makes one wonder. Thank goodness that something guided your feet to that quilt, to save it.

Good save, I can never understand how people can just part with something like that.

YEAH! You got a great deal. The quilt is lovely and I am sure you will mend it carefully and give it lots of love. Thanks for all your humor. I look forward to your posts.
