A few days ago I posted these pictures and they showed up on Shadow Dancer's post!! After apologizing to her I thought I would attempt to post again and see if I could do it right. The story behind these quilts is that these are the last of Christmas Quilts for 23 loved ones- one for each of the family members completed over several years. Really went into a slump after and haven't really got back into serious piecing--finishing up a UFO that has been crying for attention.

    Carole

Split rail with a flannel back. Made this one for our "new" grandson by marriage. Now he really feels welcomed!!

OMG, the second one is striking! They're both really nice, but the second one really jumps out at me, I love it!

Oh, ya, your title says three gifts, but I only see two qilts, am I missing something?

ETA: Oop, nevermind, I found the other thread

Both are great quilts--but that second one is really striking. You picked the perfect fabrics for it!!
