They work just as well as any you can buy at JoAnns. And I don't feel so inclined to delay changing blades. I just ordered more and was delighted to learn that they were only $1.79 a 2 pk. Online orders shippng is ridiculous tho..$8.99

I would suggest that you call your local HF before you go because they could be out of them. I ordered 10 packages at $1.79 each. They came just today so I haven't had time to try them yet but will tonight. And someone made a mistake in counting them & I got 11 packages instead of just 10! I didn't mind the $8.99 shipping because they still were less than $1.50 a blade. Where else can you get a deal like that? I hope they will fit my Martelli cutter. If not, I have other cutters that they will fit, I'm sure.

We have a Harbor Freight coming to our area and I can't wait to try the blades.

The blades work in the Martelli cutter. Even seem to be sharper than the regular blades. Just my opinion.

Forgot--just purchased 25 packages to put in the "goodie bags" for our fall retreat. The one I have in my Martelli cutter has been in there for several months and is still sharp as the day I put it in.

Don't mistake the "rotary carpet blades" for the standard rectangular carpet blades...not the same at all. The rectangular ones are a razor knife, & would probably cut your mat up pretty fast.

They are called carpet cutting blades. Two to a pack! Work great.
