Although I never thought about owning one...handcrank machines to me are the most beautiful of all machines. Of course I wouldn't turn down one if offered to me!!! VBG

I came across a clothing store in Glasgow similar to this one.I counted the machines -150 per window-10 windows plus a few scattered inside. I entered the shop asked to see the manager,"not in today". Spoke to the assistant re. what was the plan when the window display changed? Not sure was the reply.
I asked her to relay to the company that these machines would lift a lot of people out of poverty in many third world countries. I pray the message has been passed on.
Certainly an eyecatcher of a display.

Here in San Francisco, there is a fabric store "Britex Fabrics" in the Civic Center area, 5 floors. All the front of the building has the same decorations. Lots, lots of sewing machines.
Fabric in there is very expensive. I go there only once in a while.
