I have young kids, too, 7 and 5 (5 y/o isn't in Kindy yet), and an internet addiction, so I'd say I average an hour a day...sometimes more, sometimes I don't even open the door to that room.

I've found that I'm much more likely to knit, since I can stay involved with the family, or watch TV, etc.. I need to find myself a good lap (quilting) project.

I would say about 8 to 9 hours per day. I sewed until after 11pm last night.I often work on multipule tops at one time. I have a family of 5 children. That I am making quilts for ,the first is in the quilting frame, second, third ,and 4th are differnt set with all the pieces the same. Like one is a flying Geese, one was a broken Dishes, and Dutchmans Puzzle(x3).

I have found that when I am appliqueing I can do that for hours each day. If it is sewing machine work, it is much less time. (I think it is just not as relaxing, and enjoyable, as hand work). So I am somewhere in the middle, maybe 4 hours a day lately.

anywhere from 4 to 8-9 hrs a day. I am retired, don't like housework, don't go too much, so I quilt! I read in the evening and 2 days a week I car for my 2 yr old great grandson but he still takes 3 or 4 hrs naps a day because he has to get up so early. going to go get off the Board now and go sew. Happy quilting!

Considerably less, thanks to this site LOL. I have to force myself to get up from the computer and move to the machines to get any quilting done. So much information, so little time. I could spend all day here.
I check my email daily and immediately save the "Newsletters" to a designated file. That way I can go through them carefully at my leisure.
