i have to slow down now. have to plant the garden. hubby took pity on me and planted some corn and potatoes. but if i don't get out there, well, he has never planted a garden before. but he did farm for 25 yrs........I usually plant a bigg garden. and i can and freeze. don't make jelly anymore tho. do a few relishes, and pickles tho. lots of handsewing to do. have to wait for a repairman at my daughters house fri. thought i would do it then. 10 blocks to do, plus about 5 more that need the handwork done. looked at my tri's and made sure i had marked them on my homemade spread sheet. prob about 15 tri's and the corners that i need to do.

I'm still in awe that you have all these done and so quickly!

I got our garden planted yesterday, not a big one. I've cut mine way back as I decided that its easier to just go to the farmers market for lots of things. We still plant our favs so I can put them up.

well, i have them done. i just hope i've been careful enough. i've tried real hard to watch the seam allowances. no use getting it done, then having it fall apart. and i've really tried to watch to make sure i have my points 1/4 inc from the edge, etc. extra stitches at the points when appliquing, etc. i have one red applique block, that i want to redo another melon or two on, tho. the lst one i did. and then it will lay a while, while i think about what i want to do for quilting.....

There are so many blocks in the quilt sew, that if you have to sew over a point on a block, no one will notice it..really. It will be fine.
