I live in Dallas and I have to wear a hairpiece as my hair is so thin and fine that in places it doesn't even look like I have hair. I just get my hair cut when it startes showing under my hair piece. Can you believe that I went to ths so called expert to trim my hair and color it and it cost me 200 dollars. That was the end of that now I go to cut and curl shop near my homw and she does a wonderful job and it just 12 dollars, I only have maybe six strands of hair to cut.at 200 dollars that 33 dollars a strand.

I once paid $45 for a cut-she did what she wanted, in spite of the fact that I told her what I wanted-it looked good when I walked out of the shop, but I had no tallent for keeping it looking that way. And a month later it was a total train-wreck! I always go to the same person now-she charges about $14. I'm pleased with the look, it is easy to care for, and grows out pretty evenly so that I don't have to rush in once a month.

How much you pay for a haircut depends on what you want done to it. I just had mine done on Sunday - first time in at least a year.

I had him just part my hair in the middle & trim/cut 5 inches off. No washing (I had washed it prior to coming in & it was still wet); no blow drying or styling. He did a great job & it cost only $15.

Hair Cuttery $16 + tip

But I recently found a beauty school that only charges $8. I have thick hair, and I only want a simple cut short and easy to wash and wear. So I don't have any big demands for my hair.

At least when the students cut my hair and I don't like it, I can say to myself "Hey, it's only $10. What do you expect?"

50.00 wash cut and style. I don't go that often, so It isn't that much.
I color my own hair. I go to the beauty supply store and get it at my discount...
I have my license, and I cut everyone eles hair for free no less. So its my treat...
Hey I think my family should get together and pay for mine! LOL

I pay $8.00 at the barber shop. She does a great job on my thick curly hair. And yes I am female.
