I love the graphic appeal of the piecing and placement of colors. To keep that the dominant feature, I'd pick a pantograph, with an all over, lose curvy effect. That is if you have a long arm machine.

I have no idea about the quilting though....maybe some of the professionals on the board could give you some advice.
