(QAYG) Quilt as You Go-
Some people quilt each block then assemble the quilt, some quilt each strip or row then assemble the quilt, & some assemble the entire top and place the batting into the sandwich in sections. Patrice has given some great instructions for the actual QaYG steps is another topic:

Dorothy and Sarah , The link below is a good one too.
go to the next page and see the 2 different methods of doing it . I did it with the sashing . IMHO I think the way I did it is the easyest one . let me know if you need more help with this

I'm going to try quilt as you go on my next quilt. This attachment was the one I found most clear to understand plus there is a youtube video explaining the same method that was easy to understand.

The sashing on the back method, is there a tutorial or directions to this method you can send my way? I have the sashing in front one but thats not my favorite. I would like it on back instead so the front looks more traditional to normal quilting the whole top as a sandwich. Thanks
