A very good start. Have fun and don't worry about anything except the fact that you are enjoying what you are doing. I always have a smile on my face when I am quilting :)
I like the looks of the large stitches, I hand quilt and I'm going to try the long stitches on some project. It's hard to go larger after years of making the stitches small.
