I made this table runner according to the pattern only changing up some of the colors, but, I think it needs a narrow border around it in the green. To me it looks unfinished. What do you girls think? Yes??

That's really pretty Red. It needs something, how would a green binding like you used in the runner? Gorgeous fabric!!

Thanks so much Janstar. Does that mean yes, a narrow border of the green around it before finishing it off? I bought some hot fix crystals for the center when it is done. I changed it from white to yellow flowers in the center. Well and a bit of the design too. But, don't we always have to make it slightly our own? LOL!

I wouldn't add a border, I'd go with a thin green binding to finish it off.

It's gorgeous, and very nicely made. :-)

Sorry to throw a spanner in the works, Red, but I WOULD put a border - just a narrow one, an inch or two, in the green then bind with the green. Otherwise I think the points of the red flowers are too close to the edge and will be 'lost' - just my opinion! :D

I would bind it in the gold fabric that's used in the center

I like it as is. I really like the design too. Perfect for Christmas.
