Quilting is my passion, now. Grew up making all my garments including slips, gowns, prom dress, sister's wedding gown, did alternations for one lady for years. Now do alterations for grand daughter, daughter, and cousins.
Repair the bra that goes on the motorhome, did binding on the outdoor patio awning.
Make tablerunners, mug organizers, pot holders, Christmas card holders, whatever for church bazaar fundraiser.

I sew bags, placemats, and scrubs for my daughter. Once in a while I will do minor alterations for a friend.

I've made curtains, cushions for my daugther's furniture, doll clothes(Barbie and 18" dolls). I also made doll bedding, a Barbie tent and a few other crafty items. I made my maternity clothes many years ago and clothes for my children when they were little as well as some for my grandchildren. The most difficult thing I made was my daughter's wedding dress. It came out well and she was very happy with it which is all that counted.

I never had kids to sew for, so i use to make quilt looking sweatshirts and Kitchen towels that you can hang from the oven or bathroom on the towel bar. Wish I could post pictures so you could see what I am talking about.
Maybe I can start a new post and put them there???
I will try.
Thanxs

Just one of my many Kitchen towels I make

I started out years ago making pillow cases, made a lot of my own clothes growing up and evently made clothes for my kids. It's still a little bit of everything --- what ever I'm in the mood for. Made Barbie doll clothes for my 2 granddaughters --- what a nightmare that was! Made Cabbage Patch doll clothes, lots of Halloween costumes --- even made a "Martha Washington" type dress for a school play (another nightmare) Right now, it's quilting. Who know what I'll be working on in a week, month or even a year from now.
