So funny, reminds me of a joke...the mom that went to the obgyn had mom written on the bottom of her socks and when she had her feet in the stirups it read WOW

I'm a Finance Specialist at University of Colorado Cancer Center- I'm responsible for the finances relating to Clinical trials for several Disease sites- GU/ Renal, Head & Neck, Radiation Therapy, GI, and GYN. Someone has to keep the money moving so the Doctors and Nurses can concentrate on treating the patients---- that's me! I know we all poo poo big business ( me included) but, my experience is the Drug Companies are generally VERY willing to help a patient with drug expenses; so, like the commercial says ' if you're having trouble affording your medication'.... contact them. Also, if you have a facility near you that performs clinical trials ( not just cancer..) find out about participating in a trial, it could help you or someone you know; and some trials are compensated. thanks for letting me ramble!

I'm a former college professor and corporate trainer. I still could be, but don't want to!
I now have a fabric website and sew items for craft fairs, mostly at hospital charity ones.
Married and raised two terrific children; one just became a doctor on Sunday! Best job of all is being a Mom!

Oh, how I can relate to your comments on staff who would act inappropriately. I experienced it both in regular education, special education and schools not on the reservation and those on. Some of my most meaningful experiences were with reservation students, however.

I'm a retired financial analyst, and I've never looked back and wondered if I should have kept doing what I was doing!

When DH retired, he asked if I would mind if he did some of the cooking. MIND!!!!!!!! He was already doing the vacuuming, so I stopped cleaning, too. One of these days the house is going to roll down the hill when the dust gets too heavy ~ ~ ~
