Butterflywing, it is so good to know that the veneers last that long. Those slowpoke suckers are very bad for your dental work. I had a gold spacer for one of my molars when I was a child and the slow poke sucker pulled it right off..

Joym, my entire life I looked at other people's teeth and thought the same thing. Why does everyone have great looking teeth and I have ugly ones. I too knew that. Those darn photographers who want you to smile and show your teeth, always made me mad. Just take the picture with my mouth closed, why don't you!!!! LOL

luvstoquilt, I totally get it now. I inherited a little money and my DH said, it is time. So I guess my dad ended up paying for it anyway. LOL I love them, and will stay away from the slowpokes, not on my diet.

So happy for you! I had the gap between my front teeth filled in, and it made all the difference to me, too. Being able to smile again is a very precious thing.

congratulations!!!!!!!!!!!!! I can imagine how you felt. I had a broken tooth in the front from age 7 untilafter I was married.
I was really proud of my smile after I got it fixed.
