I absolutely remember not only S&H stamps but Top Value stamps and green stamps. I remember my mom coming home from the store and I couldn't wait to lick them and place them in the appropriate books. Some of them were larger had more value (maybe only one per page) Others were smaller (maybe took ten per page). I was in middle or high school. My mom couldn't wait to get a book full. We had a catalog full of goodies that we could redeem the filled books for!

My MIL had books and books of green stamps. We kidded her about those stamps, but one Christmas she got 2 tvs (one for her DH and one for her son) for gifts. I didn't do much with them, I came along towards the end of the era.

I remember S & H Green Stamps. When I was in college, my then boyfriend stayed with friends while he was visiting for the weekend. His friend had him put stamps in the books for her. When we got married 49 years ago, she gave us some of the books as a wedding gift. I got a swivel rocker that I used to rock my daughters in, both when they were babies and as they got older and were having a "crisis". It was our comfort chair. My oldest daughter still has it in her basement--rather tattered and rickety now..
I loved that chair :D :D

As kids it was our job to lick and stick them in the books. I don't remember all we got but I do remeber the sleeping bags which my parents still have and are still very warm.
as a pastor of a small church things like that were the difference and allowed us to do things like have the sleeping bags and go camping.
