Here is my block from Jupiter. Love the mix of colors. The pinwheel and the corners are actually a soft green, but my flash washed them out.

I've been enjoying seeing all the posted blocks. I won't be able to work on blocks until after the 4th of July, but all of your F8s are partnered with coordinating fabrics and are waiting very patiently.

I messed around with this block all day, trying to replicate it. OH MY, it was a mess, for sure! So many bias edges ... and everything stretched! Goldendog55, if you are willing to share your pattern, I'd sure like to see where I went wrong.

hugs, Jupiter

I finally got all my F8's mailed today. Now I hate plastic wrap and the serrated edge cutter too! I will get busy on the blocks this weekend. I mailed the F8's on Friday. If you do not receive yours please let me know.

I have used this and loved it....

http://www.blockcentral.com/hst/hst-3inch.pdf

This is the easiest way for me to make (HST) half square triangles...she has 4 sizes to choose from. They come out just great and no bias sewing

I think if you "grid" a pattern and use the HST you can make this pattern ... won't be exactly the same but when on a galloping horse you won't know the difference :) in case you can't find the "real" pattern.

I bet goldendog55 didn't realize the block she sent me would create such a stir. Great block though.

When I get home today, I'll give you the pattern. I'm going to a farmer's market to sell my fabrics!

I had to cackle at that, Moon.

I can just see you sewing on the back of a galloping horse. Especially after that comment of 'my pretties'.

Do you remember the witch from the cartoon Hansel and Gretel years ago, her hair pins would fly out all over the place?

HAHA.
