I agree with everyone else. The busy print just doesn't stand out like a solid would. Love the pattern.

Patterned sashing seems to be fashionable lately. You go with what you want. You will be living with the quilt.

i think its a personal choice....i happen to love shabby chic style and this would suit it perfectly. i guess its just whatever look you are going for
