How cute is that! I like both border fabrics but lean towards the one on the right. Something about the stars.

I totally agree. While I love the fabric on the right, the subtler one on the left doesn't compete with the great kitty-cats.

I have the fabric you are considering on the right and so naturally, I went for that one at first because I love the fabric, but after reading comments and looking again, I think the one on the left is best - It doesn't fight for atention with the cats like th one on the right does.
