What a great gift! I love getting half-done projects or starts that someone got tired of so that I can finish them. Some of my favorite quilts were started by someone who just got tired of the pattern, the fabric or whatever. DNF

You can get white newsprint end rolls usually at your local newspaper company. Mine charges $5 and there is enough on there to last a very long time.
