Can you use the noodle just as it is... or does it have to be wrapped in fabric?

I am sure you could use the noodle "as-is". I make mine to be of a GIFTY nature..so they get wrapped in pretty fabric and made to look FUN and useful!

Great idea. Who would have thought they had another use but in the pool ?? Ummm, there must be other things us quilters can use those noodles for ??? Any ideas ??

I originally bought the noodles to put on my chain link fence. Hubby cut a slice out of them about 1/4" wide and you put the noodle over the top of the chain link so you can drape quilts on the fence to dry, or air out!

Instead of glue, have you tried double stick tape? I find that sometimes the foam absorbs the glue and nothing sticks.
