Here are the 2 blocks that I have received this past week. Sorry for the delay but with watching a 19mo. old I have very little time for anything.

Well, I opened all the envelopes, and if I do this again, I will be sure to put on my envelope the return address and my board name. That is so helpful for those who did. Great suggestion. I will be getting on these this week and hopefuly get them done. I need to so I can move onto my competition quilt entries. Thanks for your patience on them. I have received some great blocks already. I will put them on the design wall and photo all at once because i do not think you want 25 of them seperately pictured here, I would have one large post. Thank you for some nice blocks.

Hi Moon,

I hope your day is special and that you have a quiet peace in you. I can only imagine how gut-wrenching it is to have a son go off to war. I admire you for giving his children a day focused on their Daddy. At least you are close to them and can spend a lot of time with them this year. I'll bet their Mom will appreciate your love and attention this year while he is gone also.

So cheer up. Its only 365 day, and starting tomorrow it will only be 364, etc. One day at a time (remember that old song?)....

hugs, Jupiter

Didn't want to go to his house today so his girls will pay attention to him instead of Nana...they are 5yr, 2 yrs & 3mo and don't understand Dad won't be back for a long time.

So it's sewing I will do...hope the blocks line up :)

Thanks Marilyn for the great calming words...yes it's one day at a time now and thankfully I do have a great DIL. Not to wish my life away, but I do have a wish for this year to pass quickly.

Only have a few more f8 to work with also...hopefully in next couple weeks will be done with them.

Offer still stands for any early block "redos" -- won't be offended if you want a redo :)

Janecat, thank you for returning the gold and brown block to me. It was meant for Jetnica. Since her name is right below yours on my list, I evidently read the address line above her name. Sorry for the inconvenience.

Jetnica, I'll send out your gold and brown block in the morning. Sorry it took the scenic route from Ohio to Utah, back to Ohio and now hopefully on to West Virginia.

Thanks again Janecat.

I think I'm going to make that quilt next week. Did you already get my block for you? do I still owe you a block?

=)
