truth here [I confessed earlier...] was that I was working on another quilt and had decreased that pattern 88% and forgot to set my copier back to 100%. So when I almost finished the first block  ahum.... I realized it was too small so I added curlies at the corners!

OMG Cre, thank goodness you realised that your Block was way too small at the beginning, when you were doing the first blocks...that would have earned you a special award for doing miniatures of the blocks....

Cre8, I love your block. I am making my squares 10" and I still have trouble with the sharp points. I don't how you worked with that small block but you did a great job.

Thanks Mousie...I think I have enough of my background to do my outer border...but if you have a little bit???? It is a current fab that I could order if I fell in love??? Do you still have my snail addy?
oh, just saw this...wondabar! I'd love for you to see it up close and personal.
It's amazing how we look at fabrics and don't see their true beauty till we start pairing them with others!
It's like a treasure chest!
I do believe I have your addy, patti...lol! ;-)

I guess I could do that too! :) thanks, andrea
I love your block Mousie. What a different background and I love the idea of doing the embroidery first and then applique. I may try that on my next block.

;) ;) ;)
well, since I am a bit slow working, it's been nice to sit and embroider and work on the apps later, but I have decided if I do the apps first, I "could" mark my hearts second...so, it can be done either way, as we have all found out.
I have to say, no matter how I did on the sewing...I do love these colors.
I'm loving my #10 colors too! woo-wee, but this is fun! :XD:

I, lol, promise, mine will be different...how nicely sewn, or creative, is left for me to discover, but different? I think I have that covered and it is interesting to me.
and to think I was so afraid to join a group. I am in the back, progress wise, but your all being so lovely about it  :XD:
