I am definitely not counting down to winter, as I hate driving on ice and snow. I do not like the heat, but I don't like the winter either. Guess I'd make a good hot house plant, just a nice mid 70's degree all year round.

here's a link to see the maps, but overall this winter looks to be a little colder than normal, a little/lot wetter than normal except for a good portion stretching from Montana to Mexico, and more snow than normal. Maybe the water table will be back where it belongs next spring if this is true! Anyone else counting down til winter??

I may rethink my stay in MI for the winter and return to TN earlier than anticipated.

Today in Texas is the 60th consecutive day of over 100 degrees. No measurable rain since last Oct.

I asked in the comments what EC meant and it means EQUAL CHANCES for snow/temp/precip. Just thought I'd let you know

I am so ready! And I LOVE cold and snow!!!! I'm sick of taking a shower and walking outside and immediately needing another shower. I hate that my bangs curl in the heat and I just look so much better in my levi cords and turtlenecks!

    GO WINTER!

Geesh! I hate to hear that. We were snowed in last year for 5 days. Snow up to my door< it was a rough winter and I said I wouldn't complain of this summer, which has been a dozer

Ye Gads! We live in Minnesota. Sounds like a repeat of last year. Oh, well, we lived through that one, we'll sure live through this one.

    Carpe Diem! Edie

According to number of black walnuts on my trees this year, I would say it will be a mild winter. You can usuallly tell by nut crop how heavy the snows will be, so they say. Seems to work around this area. Take care.
