Yes, I did. Sliced off part of my left pointing finger, Doc glued it back and can't even see the scare now. Really careful since then

I nearly cut the corner off my left thumb once....wrapped it in a paper towel then duct tape to keep the blood in. It was fine in a few days.....

Now I mostly use the rotary cutter with the pressure-sensitive blade guard. (If you don't know what that is, it's similar to the blade guard on a circular saw.)

Haven't cut myself that I can recall but did nick my kitties paw one time. Not a lot of damage but felt terrible for hurting her. All of a sudden, she was just there and nick!

Only once, a small nick on my thumb, and it just barely touched the area it cut...So, anyone who thinks those blades "aren't that sharp" are so wrong!!

Cutting bad enough, but then to be a wrong #...ACK!...

I totally agree with you! I love applique quilting, and the iron and I have had our moments, too...Its amazing how the brain just has selective memory at times, eh??..

Yes. I learned my lesson. Never use my rotary when I am tired.
