Old Southern style house, big wraparound porch with wicker furnishings, 3 bedrooms, 1 big sewing room. Like to have at least 2 acres. Ideal spot would be Oregon coast near Brookings.

My current home, a big two story yellow farm house, with gables and deep 10-12 foot porches front and back. It is free standing and over looks the valley. A plum colored front door and purple blue window frames add the whip creme.

Not sure on style but I know it will have lots of light, be all on one floor and have lots of property for dogs. Neighbors far enough away that they keep their noses out of my business.

I live in mine, just finished building two years ago. It is a log cabin with a covered porch all the way around, 3 bedroom, 2 bath, living room, dining, kitchen, library, sewing room, and loft. No garage as it is 14 ft up on piling because I have a river at the end of my back yard, but underneath there is a two bedroom apartment also with wrap around porch that I added for my parents. And no neighbors for 3 miles!
Oh, this would suit me very well, downstairs apartment would be good for visiting family, love having most of the rooms on one level as DH and I are in our mid 70's. One thing I would need that I don't see a photo of, a full time maid as I couldn't keep up a house of that size by myself and still have time to spend in one of the bedrooms that I've made into my special quilt room.

I like mine just as it is. In the woods, in the country, log sided, open floor plan, shaded most of the day, have a pool, have a whirlpool, have a walk in shower. he has a barn to go get out of the way!

This is the one for me! I would put it way up on a mountain with sweet smelling pine trees and lots of privacy.
