    Wow this is fantstic tip! I just bought some Carol Doaks foundation paper at Joann's (used coupon!) and I am surprised how hard it is to pull. I am hand piecing my pieces so I think it's even more vulnerable. This really helped!

    I find it just easier to use paper piecing paper. Dont need any tricks to get the paper out. Yes it adds a little more expense to the project, but in the scheme of things, it is cheaper than frustration. I figure whats a little more when I spend so much on this crazy hobby anyway.
