I use horse shoes for my waits works great. ;) But love the bright colors I may paint them. Can you tell I lost them at times. :lol: :lol: :lol:

besides holding down fabric, they hold down papers!
they hold the fabric I am painting on so there are no pin holes, they hold the ROLL of steam a seam so it lies flat while I am trying to draw it...really, they do come in handy!

see, I was doing that...these small weights take up less room, they are easier to see under my creative clutter and they are heavier than the rulers!

Very clever and soooo colorful, great idea on making them BRIGHT colors!! How do things get lost in our sewing rooms??? LOL
Great idea on the muffin tins for pincushions! I collect and make pincushions, just love this idea. Off to the antique/2nd hand stores for me!!

cool idea, i made small sand bags because if i have a long length of fabric to cut or when trimming a quilt it wants to fall off the cutting table, those weights would be good for that too

I'm not clear....where did you get the weights? Am I incorrect when I assume you are "making them for fall bazaars".....what do you make them out of?
