I agree. I have used this method as well.

I agree. I have used this method as well.
Cute little girl showing her quilt...
and the larger quilt, is it appliqued or embroidered? Looks lovely in the picture...

It is embroidered with candle wicking, mostly colonial knots and simple stitches. Cute girl is my youngest grand daughter, cute and loving!
