I bought my backing fabric last night and what I'm planning to use for binding. The binding is a cool looking stripe that I plan to cut on the bias so it will look kinda like cording. Anyway...here it is.....unless I change my mind...heehee!

Backing on left...binding folded on the bias in the center

Here is what the actual stripe looks like

donna, your quilt top is looking gorgeous. You put a lot of work into that outer border, but it paid off spectacularly! :-D

Kathy, woo hoo...I finally got all my fabrics sorted for each block and I think #33 is a really great one too.
I have to tell you, many blocks are way high on my list of favorites, of the ones ppl have done on here, but your #22...it has stolen my heart! ;-)

Kathy your #33 is just lovely. I think that block may become one of my favourites also.

Love the stripe Patti especially when put on the bias.

OK, I haven't been able to get a pic of the top so you can see the 20 blocks added to it because - it's windy & chilly & windy & rainy & windy. It's only 63º right now, but the "rain" has stopped. We got enough to get everything wet & I think it came down hard enough to rinse off the house a little bit. Our wind is at 20MPH sustained, so it's really windy. I don't think there was enough to measure, though.

So, anyway. I did take a pic of one corner that shows the embroidered sashings, the shark tooth border #1 & the last few blocks. The other pic is what I've done to Aie's corner heart & now I am playing with arrangement of it along the border.

I never did get a pic of Blocks # 27, 28 & 29 - I guess I was so excited to get them finished that I forgot. Took them today. Here's my Block #29.
