Yes, it's in Russian, but one of those links lead to this
hideous quilt that looks like a pregnant giant ball. If you
didn't see it, you didn't miss anything.

Thank you Peckish. I was beginning to think that I went through the trouble without anyone noticing but continuing to complain about the Russian page. As this had already been explained more than a dozen times, I thought it's really not worth doing it all over again.

Although the pattern is very different I think it would still be very, very hard. Like the idea of calling it a Pregnant Log Cabin!

If you make it from the 8 1/2 x 11 print from your home computer it will come out about 27".....really small. I took my printout to Kinkos where they can do a 36" wide print. That was about 300% of the original. The one I started today will be about 50" square.
