I just wanted to add a kind of ironically funny story about bullies that I witnessed in high school.
A younger girl with Down's Syndrome used to sometimes sit with me on the school bus. She was usually quite friendly and nice to talk with. But one day she just seemed to be simmering with anger and I was unsure how to make her feel better. I could not understand why she was growing more and more agitated. Suddenly she turned and bodily flew over the back of our bus seat, grabbing the boy behind us and pulling out tufts of his hair. It turned out that he had been sitting behind her, painfully yanking on her hair. She had retaliated, and how! Her counter attack started and ended so swiftly that the entire busload of kids was at first in shock, but that quickly turned to laughter and they all began making fun of the bully. He didn't live that down while he was in high school.
Of course, I'm not recommending violence to solve problems, but in that instance, it was good to see the victim get the best of a bully. ;)

Having studied nutrition, I KNOW can teach someone what to do and what to eat, but that chocolate cake....can't stay away!Maybe it's the same with the teacher!
The kids only see the physical, as proven by all the bullying and teasing. :?
