If you have had it in the shop for repair 3 times, It is a lemon. I would ask for a replacement . Years ago we bought a new washer and had it delivered and set up. I put a load in and went to run a errand. Came back to see water running down my driveway like a river. I called the shop where we bought it. A repairman came out and worked on it, he thought he fixed it and left. I went to finish the first load and went to run another errand, came back to see the river running down the driveway again. I called the shop and said come pick up this lemon of a washer and bring me a brand new one to replace it. He wanted to know how we paid for it and I replied we had used a credit card. They brought me a new machine.

This is why I use my 1941 Singer while my other three much newer (read: plastic) machines sit on the shelf gathering dust and the occasional piece of dog fur......

I have an Esante and I love it. Babylock makes good machines. Talk to the people about getting it replaced and most definitely let Babylock know of your problems. I think they will make it good. Please keep us posted on what you do and how it turns out.

Babylock is owned by the Tacomi corporation which is family owned. I hear they are very reputable and will stand behind their products.

I have a Babylock Quest and so far no problems. Sorry that you are having to deal with this.

I worked 11 hours today so nothing was addressed. I did send Babylock an email last night, have not heard back from them. I am planning on calling the dealer tomorrow, and depending on response will be calling Babylock, already have the 800 number written down.
Sad thing is I don't have a 100 hours on this machine. I piece mostly on my FW, add bindings on my Brother 1500, and quilt on my HQ. I have used this the BL for sewing the bindings down on the 15 quilts I sent to Afghanistan, and some decorative stitches on about 10 blocks. Will post update when I have one.
thanks for the suggestions and support:)

They didn't know where the spring went? My next thought is they don't know much about sewing machines either. That is scarey.
