Behind in my sewing, today finished my 4 G-kids their library book bags. I made just basic bags & I did some enbroidery on them. A dragon laying against a tree stump reading a book. They will get them this weekend & hope they will get lots of use out of them.

The Sun just came out

The beautiful weather here, the colors of autumn, watching a doe in the backyard.....and most thankful for God's never ending love and acceptance of me.

Blessings!

Today is mine and hubby's 41st wedding anniversary! Also went to Chautaqua Quilt Show yesterday. It was wonderful.

My husband has been out of work since February. He has broken a shoulder in April and his broken left foot needed surgery on last Friday (osteoporsis)........BUT today is a beautiful day out. On our trip to the dr's for a follow-up exam the trees are just starting to turn. We went to two farm markets and got the wonderful fresh fruits and vegetables so abundant in this area. And our 11 month old granddaughter and her Mom (our lovely daughter) surprised us with a visit bringing cider and donuts. God is good.

WHAT A SIMPLY GORGEOUS DAY!!! :-D

It is our 13th wedding anniversary today and what really made me happy is that DH took the day off work and we went out to lunch and spent some quality time together!

Hugs

Waking up to a hot cup of coffee I did not have to make myself, and being able to make an appointment for the dog groomer, to get them washed and trimmed. They are both getting a little "woofie" smelling. They never have bad breath, but after a few months of summer, PU!

An email from my ex-DIL who lives in Dietzenbach, Germany whom I love with all my heart.

Finding out the reason my nine-month-old Dyson vacuum wouldn't work was because the motor was burned out. Took it back and got a new one, no questions asked. Red letter day for me!
