Go to the Accuquilt website and look at their patterns, then choose one to cut out. Lots of the patterns are free.

I think I would use it on something that's a pain to cut out and a project that I know I'm ready to make.

Another good one would be the die for rag quilts. I got that one because I want to make my son a rag quilt out of jeans and flannel. The die is already cut on the edges so all you have to do is sew the pieces together and wash. Wala your done in a flash. Good luck

Thanks everyone, all of you have such good ideas, I really appreciate the info. I do like the drunkards path and one of my son-laws said he would like a quilt like that. My husband does all of my cutting for me. I have RA and cutting is almost impossible for me. I must say he is much more accurate than I would be, even when I could do my own cutting. He takes real pride in his work and when he is done I know they are cut perfect. I am making queen size quilts for each grandchild when they get married. (Because Hubby does all the cutting, it is a labor of love from both of us) I have made three and have four more to go. Working on the fourth right now. I will post pictures someday, when one of my grandkids comes over to show me how to do it. I am not very computer savvy. Today is a rainy quilting type day. Thanks from Washington State.

Hi Congratulationsa!! Get yourself set up to do as much as you can in that one hour-I would go look at options available before I use the hour and then make a plan-use both stash and new bought if it feels right. Send pics of what you did. Good Luck

If you have a bucket list, I would choose something from that. Something that you may not do because of the cutting. It would make it closer to doing that quilt if everything was ready for you when you are ready to piece it together.

I have too many quilts that I want to do on my bucket list, that I would have to cut,sew & quilt, It would take me about 15 years to do if I did one every month.LOL
