My old machine is 47 years old, hass lots of problems. My newr one is a mere37. nooping best I can, any feedback on the performance or issues of any of these:
    BROTHER ES2000
    JANOME 8050
    AND
    Janome DC1050
T'm relly into quioting, and need free motion ability. I don't know if the come with table. But a 7mm width and a self-threading would be nice.
Any body have a good/bad opinion on either?

The 3 machines you mention are great machines for piecing but they weigh around 12 pounds so FM might be challenging unless you intend to do small projects like baby quilts/runners. You can find a bit heavier (stable) machines for around the same price in Janome and Brother (dealer models) and BabyLock.

I would also recommend you look at the Baby Lock line.

Look at a Janome 6300P or 6500P. They have a 9" throat (harp) and are real workhorses! With the release of the 6600P and the Horizon, the 6500 prices have come down. That's what I would go for!

I agre with scowlcap, the Janome MC 6500P is a great machine. The 9 inch throatplate is the widest of all the domestic machines...
    Love mine!
